ICC Family, Partners, and Friends --
We are thrilled to share some incredible news: we are purchasing 686 North 7th Street as the home for ICC's first church plant in North Memphis—Northside Community Church!
A total of $141,708.31 has been given or pledged to Campaign 686. This is exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we asked or imagined by this point. This amount covers the full amount of our needed down payment for a facility and renovation loan. We are amazed by God's provision and your generosity!
From now until November 27th, every new gift or pledge toward the facility will go to reduce the amount of money we have to borrow for the property. The total cost of the 686 North 7th Street property is $535,000. Pledges must be fulfilled by November 27, 2024.
Below, you will find vision documents for our church plant and specific details about this property. Right now, there are three action steps you can take:
1) Pray: Please continue to pray for organizational details and church leadership teams as we take final next steps over this next month.
2) Give or Pledge: What if, together, we didn’t even need to take out a loan? We urge you to consider what you can give sacrificially for this kingdom opportunity and fill out a pledge commitment in faith.
- Give Today. (Be sure "Campaign 686" is the selected fund from the drop down menu!)
- Make a Pledge. (All pledges need to be fulfilled by November 27th.)
3) Spread the Word: Share this news with your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers who care about our city and the North Memphis community. Make a request of a corporation you know who gives back to community causes or a foundation that grants money toward efforts like this. Encourage them to be a part of this mission by sending them the link to this website. By making a financial pledge, they too can be a part of funding a space in the neighborhood that will serve as an anchor and refuge for those in need of our Savior.
Thank you for your support and commitment to this incredible opportunity!
With love,
Barrett (Lead Pastor, Island Community Church) and Jordan (Lead Pastor / Church Planter, Northside Community Church)
